* at Seattle 7, Pittsburgh 0: Jeff Weaver (1-6) got his first victory in nine starts, throwing a four-hitter to help the Mariners end a six-game losing streak. He retired 16 consecutive Pirates at one point and pitched a complete game for the first time in two years.

* at Cleveland 10, Philadelphia 6: Casey Blake put the Indians ahead with a two-run single in an eight-run sixth inning to help C.C. Sabathia (10-2) join Josh Beckett and John Lackey as the majors’ only 10-game winners.

* Florida 5, at Chicago White Sox 4: Pinch-hitter Jason Wood hit a three-run homer off closer Bobby Jenks in the eighth inning to help beat the staggering White Sox. Chicago starter Jon Garland had given up only two hits entering the eighth with the White Sox leading, 2-1.

* at Arizona 7, Tampa Bay 4: Chad Tracy and Eric Byrnes each hit a three-run home run to lift the Diamondbacks. Micah Owings (5-1) won his fourth straight decision and Byrnes went four for five with a double and two singles.

* at Oakland 5, Cincinnati 3: Nick Swisher drew a bases-loaded walk to tie it in the seventh inning, then Eric Chavez followed with a sacrifice fly. Shannon Stewart added a solo home run in the eighth to help save the day for Dan Haren (9-3), who hasn’t lost since April 7.

* Boston 11, at Atlanta 0: Julian Tavarez (7-0) pitched seven scoreless innings after J.D. Drew, Coco Crisp and David Ortiz homered in the first two innings. The Red Sox had five home runs and 10 of their 15 hits were for extra bases.

* Baltimore 7, at San Diego 1: Rookie Jeremy Guthrie (4-1) allowed four hits over eight innings to help the Orioles end a nine-game losing streak and give interim Manager Dave Trembley his first win.

* at St. Louis 7, Kansas City 6 (14 innings): Ryan Ludwick homered off Jorge de la Rosa leading off the 14th inning for the Cardinals, who tied the score in the ninth on a double by Albert Pujols.

* Minnesota 6, at N.Y. Mets 2: Torii Hunter hit a two-run homer and Scott Baker (2-2) pitched five effective innings for the Twins. Joe Mauer also drove in two runs for Minnesota.

* Detroit 8, at Washington 4: The Tigers scored five runs in the sixth inning to help Jeremy Bonderman to his eighth straight victory after beginning the season with five no-decisions.

* at Colorado 6, N.Y. Yankees 1: Jeff Francis struck out a career-best nine in seven innings and Matt Holliday homered and drove in three runs for the Rockies.

* at Texas 7, Chicago Cubs 3: Alfonso Soriano was three for four with his 12th home run in the Cubs’ loss.

* at Angels 8, Houston 4: The Astros lost despite outhitting the AL West leaders, 12-7.

* at Toronto 12, Dodgers 1: The Blue Jays’ matched their biggest margin of victory of the season.
