Update -- Chivas will put its home unbeaten streak on the line when it plays host to New England. Chivas is 4-0-1 at home. In 450 minutes played at Home Depot Center, Chivas has given up only one goal and scored 11. New England, which leads the Eastern Conference by one point, has won only one of its last four games after a seven-game unbeaten streak. In goal for Chivas will be Preston Burpo, who had a 1.21 goals-against average last season. He replaces Brad Guzan, who is with the U.S. team in Copa America. Chivas released forward Matt Taylor on Friday and signed goalkeeper Justin Myers to a temporary contract to be a backup. The team also added French forward Laurent Merlin to its senior roster.
