Spurs’ streak hits 11
Manu Ginobili scored 31 points, including five three-point baskets, to help the San Antonio Spurs to their 11th straight win, a 100-93 victory over the Kings on Thursday night at Sacramento.
Ginobili scored 11 of San Antonio’s first 15 points in the fourth quarter, including three three-pointers. He finished with 16 points in the period to hold off the Kings, who led several times in the fourth, but had their four-game win streak stopped.
The Spurs ended a trip 4-0.
Tony Parker put the Spurs ahead for good on a layup with 2:50 remaining, igniting a 9-0 run.
Kevin Martin went scoreless in the first 17 minutes, but finished with 26 points and a career-high 12 rebounds for Sacramento.
Chicago 100, Orlando 76 -- One night after their worst loss of the season, the Bulls used a 14-0 run in the second quarter to seize control of a game they dominated throughout at Orlando, Fla.
Ben Gordon scored 25 points and Kirk Hinrich added 17 for Chicago. Gordon and Hinrich were a combined seven of nine from three-point range.
Luol Deng added 15 points and a season-high 14 rebounds for the Bulls, who bounced back from a 103-70 defeat at Miami.
Dwight Howard led the Magic with 17 points and 14 rebounds, but was only five of 14 from the free-throw line.
