Beauties and the Bebe
The celeb count for runway shows during L.A. Fashion Week at Smashbox is routinely high because (A) it’s L.A. and (B) stars always turn out for designers they love. Front-row faces at the Bebe Collection Fall/Winter ’07 show last Sunday: 1. Jerry O’Connell and his Amazonian squeeze, Rebecca Romijn. Hanging backstage, 2. Brenda Strong, left, the disembodied voice of Mary Alice on “Desperate Housewives,” and Arielle Kebbel wore their best Bebe. 3. “DH” star Eva Longoria, the new face of Bebe Sport, locked fingers with designer David Cardona. Shopping the show: 4. “Nip/Tuck’s” Kelly Carlson, in a black stretch jumpsuit and beret, sat with singer Blu Cantrell. 5. Wrestler-turned-dancer Stacey Keibler sneaks a peak between Kebbel and Web celeb Olivia Munn. The only out-of-place face? Penny Marshall, in her trademark black layers and sneakers. It’s safe to say she won’t be wearing Bebe’s latest looks: military jackets, lean jodhpurs, tight minis and satin gowns with leather straps.

Here’s an ‘Entourage’ with style

What’s an “Entourage” without denim? The stars of HBO’s series about making it big in Hollywood, 6. Jeremy Piven, left, Kevin Connolly, Perrey Reeves (Mrs. Ari) and Adrian Grenier, took a break from shooting the third season for the GQ launch of a new premium denim line, AG for Entourage, held at the Adriano Goldschmeid boutique on Robertson Boulevard. The lads have worn AG on the show from the get-go but sported the new Entourage styles for the March 15 bash. There is no flashy logo, just the show’s insignia, a star-inside-a-circle on the button of men and women’s jeans. 7. Rex Lee, who plays Ari Gold’s assistant, showed off his rear view. If you can’t afford $175 jeans, try a vintage wash Entourage, like 8. Kevin Dillon’s amusing “Viking Quest” style or the T-shirt advertising Ari’s new venture, Miller Gold Agency.

Who needs front-row seats at expensive runway shows? Gen Art’s “The New Garde” evening March 16 found an innovative way to showcase the work of three promising L.A. designers. The evening featured 9. nine live models posing in three distinct and elaborately staged theatrical vignettes for the Alms, Mintee and Hazel Brown collections. 10.
