* Cincinnati 2, at San Diego 1: Ken Griffey Jr. hit a leadoff homer in the 12th inning, the 571st of his career, and the Reds ended a four-game losing streak. Griffey has hit all of his eight home runs this season in the last 18 games.

* Chicago 10, at New York 1: Aramis Ramirez hit a grand slam -- the seventh of his career -- Carlos Zambrano (4-3) gave up six hits in eight innings and the Cubs handed John Maine (5-1) his first loss.

* at Philadelphia 4, Milwaukee 3: Carlos Ruiz hit a walk-off homer with two outs in the ninth after Johnny Estrada had tied the score with a home run in the top half of the inning to give Brett Myers his first blown save.

* Atlanta 6, at Washington 2: Edgar Renteria hit two home runs, Tim Hudson (5-1) gave up three hits over seven innings and the Braves ended the Nationals’ four-game winning streak.

* Florida 9, at Pittsburgh 3: Dan Uggla drove in four runs and hit two of Florida’s four homers. One of the other homers was hit by Hanley Ramirez, who reached base five times to help the Marlins end a five-game skid.

* Arizona 3, at Colorado 0: Randy Johnson (1-2) gave up one hit in six innings, struck out nine and did not walk a batter in winning for the first time since his return to the Diamondbacks after two seasons with the New York Yankees.

* at Houston 6, San Francisco 5: Carlos Lee’s home run, his second of the game, in the 10th inning lifted the Astros. Houston’s Hunter Pence tied the score, 5-5, with a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth.

* at Dodgers 9, St. Louis 7: Rafael Furcal had four hits and the Dodgers ended a 10-game losing streak to the Cardinals.
