PHILADELPHIA -- Nearly two years to the day Terrell Owens was banished from the Eagles, the receiver had 10 receptions for 174 yards and one touchdown to help the Dallas Cowboys beat Philadelphia, 38-17.

Tony Romo threw three touchdown passes, Marion Barber totaled 106 yards and one touchdown and the NFC East-leading Cowboys improved to 7-1 for the first time since 1995.

It’s the worst start for the Eagles (3-5) since Andy Reid became coach in 1999.

Quarterback Donovan McNabb fumbled on the first play from scrimmage, and the Cowboys converted it into a two-yard touchdown run by Julius Jones.

Dallas increased its lead to 28-7 on the first drive of the third quarter. Owens turned a short pass from Romo into a 45-yard touchdown catch.

Romo threw for 324 yards and became the first quarterback the Eagles didn’t sack this season.
