at No. 25 Connecticut 30, Syracuse 7: Tyler Lorenzen threw for 213 yards and a touchdown and the Huskies (9-2, 5-1) beat the Orange (2-9, 1-5) at East Hartford to stay in sole possession of first place in the Big East. Connecticut can win its first conference title with a victory at West Virginia next week. UConn’s tailback tandem of Donald Brown and Andre Dixon combined for 151 yards rushing and two scores. Lorenzen finished 16 for 24 for 213 yards and no interceptions.

at South Florida 55, Louisville 17: Mike Ford rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns and the Bulls (8-3, 3-3) forced seven turnovers while holding Brian Brohm to a season-low passing total of 213 yards in a victory over the Cardinals (5-6, 2-4) at Tampa. Brohm was intercepted three times and his backup, Hunter Cantwell, was picked off once. The Cardinals also lost three fumbles.

at Rutgers 20, Pittsburgh 16: Ray Rice rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown and the Scarlet Knights (7-4, 3-3) took a major step toward securing a third straight bowl bid with a victory over the Panthers (4-6, 2-3) at Piscataway, N.J. Devin McCourty intercepted a pass in the end zone with 11 seconds to play.
