Man held on suspicion of assault with his truck
A Yorba Linda man was arrested Friday on suspicion of seriously injuring a pedestrian by ramming him with his pickup truck, police said.
Kevin Doran, 23, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. when officers responded to reports of a hit-and-run near the Back Alley Bar & Grill in the 100 block of West Wilshire Avenue, Lt. Craig Brower of the Fullerton Police Department said. Officers found a seriously injured man and, nearby, Doran’s heavily-damaged pickup truck. The injured man, who was not identified, was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where he was in stable condition.
Doran is being held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, Brower said.
