Teen killed and another hurt in mall shooting
Police on Monday were investigating a mall shooting that left one teenager dead and another critically wounded.
Terry Green, 16, of Los Angeles died at the scene, after the shooting at the Rio Rancho Discount Mall on Foothill Boulevard. Investigators said the shots were fired from a handgun by one of six people who confronted the two boys and initiated a fistfight about 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
The wounded boy, who was not identified, was being treated for gunshot wounds to his legs.
Rialto Police Sgt. Vince Licata said officials were seeking a motive for the shooting.
