Plaintiffs to reimburse legal costs to city, district

Plaintiffs who sued the city and its school district have agreed to reimburse as much as $450,000 in legal costs, the city said.
The plaintiffs had alleged that toxic emissions from an oil well at Beverly Hills High School had caused cancers and other ailments.
But a judge last year dismissed the cases, saying there was no evidence that emissions had compromised health.
