* Utah 23, San Diego State 7: Darrell Mack rushed 22 times for 131 yards and had a touchdown reception and Louie Sakoda kicked three field goals to help the Utes (4-3, 1-3 Mountain West) to their third win in a row at Salt Lake City. The Aztecs (3-3, 1-1) had only 12 first downs and 211 yards of offense in their first conference loss.

* New Mexico 20, at Wyoming 3: Travis Brown had a 63-yard reception for the go-ahead touchdown and the Lobos (4-2, 1-1 Mountain West) won at Laramie, Wyo., in a game interrupted nearly two hours by lightning. New Mexico took a 17-3 lead on two touchdowns after the second-quarter delay. Halftime was limited to three minutes. Devin Moore, the conference rushing leader with a 114-yard average entering the game, had only 30 yards rushing for Wyoming (4-2, 1-1).

* Air Force 45, at Colorado State 21: Chad Hall ran for four touchdowns and a single-game team-record 256 yards and the Falcons (5-2, 4-1 Mountain West) scored four first-half touchdowns at Fort Collins, Colo. The game was delayed 45 minutes because lightning knocked out power to some parts of the stadium. Colorado State (0-6, 0-3) has lost 13 in a row.

* Fresno State 37, at Idaho 24: Running backs Lonyae Miller and Ryan Mathews each rushed for two touchdowns and the Bulldogs (4-2, 3-0 Western Athletic) brushed aside the Vandals (1-6, 0-3) at Moscow, Idaho.

* at Louisiana Tech 22, New Mexico State 21: Zac Champion erased a 12-point deficit with two touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and the Bulldogs (2-4, 1-2 Western Athletic) won at Ruston, La., despite a missed field goal, numerous dropped passes, nine penalties and other mistakes. The Aggies fell to 3-4 and 0-2.

* at Cal Lutheran 47, Claremont-Mudd 12: The Kingsmen (3-2, 3-0 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) held the Stags to only 140 yards of offense at Thousand Oaks.

* at San Diego 59, Drake 19: Josh Johnson threw five touchdown passes and the Toreros (6-0, 3-0 Pioneer League) extended their home winning streak to 22 games. San Diego, two-time defending league champions, has won 33 of 35 games and 18 conference games in a row. Drake fell to 5-2 and 2-1.

* Cal Poly San Luis Obispo 63, UC Davis 28: Jonathan Dally completed 10 passes for 264 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Mustangs (4-2, 1-0 Great Western) past the Aggies (2-5, 0-2) at Davis.
