Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band return to the top of the U.S. pop album chart in a tepid sales week. Two albums debut in the Top 10, but none sold more than 100,000 copies. That’s a sharp contrast from just three weeks ago, when six albums topped six figures.

Springsteen’s “Magic” sold 77,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan, not all that far above the 60,000 copies the “Dreamgirls” soundtrack posted in January to set a new low in sales for a No. 1 album. The three-week total for “Magic” is now about 547,000 copies, and the album reclaims the top spot from Kid Rock’s “Rock N Roll Jesus.” It slipped to No. 2 on a 55% sales dip, its weekly total only about 200 copies behind Springsteen’s.

Entering at No. 5 this week is the latest from veteran rock band Jimmy Eat World, its “Chase This Light” debuting with 62,000.

Also arriving is Santana’s 18-track hits compilation “Ultimate Santana.” The set, which contains four previously unreleased recordings, lands at No. 8 after selling 56,000 copies.

R&B; singer Angie Stone’s new “Art of Love & War” sold 45,000 copies, enough to give it a No. 12 debut. It’s the artist’s first album for the recently relaunched Stax imprint under the Concord Music Group.

The only Top 20 album that registered a sales increase this week is the debut offering from Colbie Caillat, “Coco.” The singer-songwriter, who plays Friday at the Malibu Inn, continues to benefit from the strength of her initial single “Bubbly,” and sales of “Coco” jumped 20% to 50,000 copies, bringing its 14-week total to about 417,000 copies.
