The Kobe beef

I’ve been following T.J. Simers’ recent relentless badgering of Kobe Bryant with puzzlement, as the articles are not the least bit informative, insightful or even entertaining. Then I got it. I believe Mr. Simers is hoping to aggravate Kobe to the point that he can take it no longer and punches T.J. in the face. A settlement will follow and Mr. Simers will retire a millionaire.

Here’s hoping Kobe follows the advice of his biggest sponsor: “Just do it.”

It sure doesn’t look like these Lakers come equipped with a mute button. If all of this kvetching and whining keeps up, they’re going to end up with Donald Sterling at point guard, Dennis Rodman as coach and a floor buffer coming off the bench.
