Colorado 4, at Arizona 3: Matt Holliday singled, homered and drove in two runs and the Rockies beat Brandon Webb. Josh Fogg pitched six solid innings for the Rockies. Webb (14-10) struggled for the second consecutive start for Arizona, giving up four runs and five hits over seven innings.
at Chicago 5, Houston 4: Derrek Lee drove in three runs, including a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth inning. Trailing 5-4, Alfonso Soriano singled off Astros reliever Chad Qualls (6-4) and with two out, Lee homered on an 0-and-1 pitch.
at Milwaukee 7, Pittsburgh 4: Prince Fielder hit his National League-leading 40th home run, Ryan Braun had three hits including a homer, and the Brewers completed a three-game sweep.
at St. Louis 3, Cincinnati 2: Rick Ankiel homered for the second time in three days to break a tie in the sixth inning. Braden Looper gave up four hits in seven scoreless innings for the Cardinals.
at Washington 2, San Francisco 1: Ryan Zimmerman hit a one-out RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning.
at Florida 7, Philadelphia 6: The Marlins tied a team record with five home runs, including two by Cody Ross and a go-ahead homer by Hanley Ramirez.
New York 3, at Atlanta 2: Backed by David Wright’s two-run homer, Tom Glavine improved to 12-6.
Dodgers 5, at San Diego 0: Chad Billingsley shut down the Padres with seven innings of four-hit ball.
