Those adults were so out of it
“Adult L.A.” [Aug. 23] was a misnomer! Los Angeles is the second largest city in the United States, and you send us “crones and coots” information on things that folks in their 40s, 50s and 60s can do in Altadena, Inglewood, Montecito Heights and Laguna Beach. I’m sorry. Were I and the thousands of the population that live in the city of L.A. suppose to have migrated to the suburbs by now?
How about an article that researches where to go in Los Angeles -- including downtown, Echo Park, Hollywood, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Culver City, Santa Monica and Brentwood? This is where an urban night life actually exists. Do you think if this same article was written in the New York Times they would send us out to Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut?
