Parking fee would make a clown frown
“Corteo,” the new Cirque du Soleil show at the Forum in Inglewood, hopes to evoke what the press materials describe as “a festive parade imagined by a clown.” But the parade slows down and loses just a bit of its festive air right at the parking lot when an attendant holds out a hand out to collect the fee. It’s $19. Cash. Which, say the folks at the Forum, puts it right in line with the “industry standard.”
For the intrepid, public transportation options abound, and at www.mta.net you can plot a route that will likely get you there and back for about $2.50 per adult. What to do with the savings? We suggest the (pricey) popcorn.
