SALZBURG, Austria -- Anze Kopitar was the hero once more, scoring with only 46 seconds remaining to give the Kings a 4-3 win over Swedish champions Farjestad BK on Wednesday in the final of an exhibition tournament.

Kopitar, who just got back on the ice after a two-minute penalty, scored after a rush through the Swedish defense.

After a scoreless first period, Eero Somervuori and Emil Kaberg scored to give Farjestad BK a 2-0 lead, but Patrick O’Sullivan and Lubomir Visnovsky evened the score in the next five minutes.

Mathias Johansson put the Swedish club in front again, but the Kings, who came from behind to defeat Austrian champions EC Red Bull Salzburg, 7-6, in the opening match Tuesday, rallied again as Michael Cammalleri scored at 6:32 of the final period to even things up.

Jonathan Bernier and Jason LaBarbera shared the goaltending duties for the Kings.

Kopitar, who led all scorers in the tournament with four goals and an assist and had the winning goal in both games, was named most valuable player.

Earlier, Red Bull Salzburg defeated Swiss champions HC Davos, 5-3, to finish third in the Red Bull Salute tournament.

It was the last exhibition for the Kings before opening the NHL season with a two-game series against the Ducks in London on Saturday and Sunday at O2 Arena.

The team has scheduled a practice today at the arena.

Saturday’s matchup will be broadcast on FSN West. Sunday’s game will be on Versus. Both are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. PDT.
