at Fresno State 17, Louisiana Tech 6: Jason Crawley scored the go-ahead touchdown and the Bulldogs (2-2, 1-0) controlled the second half to defeat Louisiana Tech (1-3, 0-2) in a WAC game. Clifton Smith had a fourth-quarter touchdown run for Fresno State, which improved to 10-1 in WAC openers under coach Pat Hill.

at Nevada 27, Nevada Las Vegas 20: Nick Graziano threw a 43-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Sammons with 27.5 seconds left to lead the Wolf Pack (2-2) over the Rebels (2-3) at Reno.
