* at Utah 129, Washington 87: C.J. Miles scored a career-high 29 points and the Jazz set a team record with 15 three-point baskets in beating the Wizards, who were without Caron Butler (hamstring). Utah also outrebounded Washington, 40-23, and shot 59.5% (50 of 84).

* Atlanta 116, at Memphis 99: Josh Smith had 26 points, eight rebounds and six assists and the Hawks led by as many as 38 points in moving three games ahead of New Jersey for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. Memphis made it respectable with a 23-4 fourth-quarter run.

* Toronto 104, at Charlotte 100: Chris Bosh scored 32 points and the Raptors won for the third time in their last four games by making 17 straight shots in the first quarter, falling behind by 10 in the second and pulling away in the second half. Bosh added eight rebounds and five assists.

* at Indiana 105, Miami 85: Jermaine O’Neal scored nine points in 18 minutes in his first game in more than two months because of a knee injury. Danny Granger scored 23 points for Indiana. The Heat shot 42% and failed to reach 100 points for the 15th time in 16 games.

* at Phoenix 132, Denver 117: The Suns trailed, 70-51, at halftime before outscoring the Nuggets, 81-47, in the second half. Amare Stoudemire scored 41 points and Steve Nash added 36 for the Suns, who tied the idle Lakers atop the Pacific Division with their 50th victory.

* Dallas 93, at Clipppers 86: Jason Kidd scored 27 points, Josh Howard got 12 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter and the Mavericks swept the four-game season series.
