No second Cup

Sure I’m disappointed the Ducks have been eliminated in the first round of the NHL playoffs. Still, like they say, there’s always last year.

Last year the Ducks won the Stanley Cup and the Kings were so motivated by their rival’s success that they finished 29th out of 30 teams. Now that the Ducks have been eliminated after one round, I shudder to think what the Kings will do for an encore.

I agree with Steve Keegan’s letter last week that a Philip Anschutz dunk tank would be the best entertainment at a Kings game. My only suggestion would be that in keeping with the nature of the team AEG owns yet continues to ignore, the water in the tank be frozen.
