Slain bank guard is identified

A bank security guard who was shot and killed Thursday in Jefferson Park was identified Friday by coroner’s officials as Isaiah Quinones, 40.

Two male attackers wrested a handgun from Quinones in the parking lot of the Bank of America branch at 29th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard, then fatally shot him with his own weapon, police said.

Quinones died later at California Hospital in Los Angeles.
