VS. GOLDEN STATE

Time: 6:30.

On the air: TV: FS West. Radio: 570; 1330.

Where: Staples Center.

Records: Lakers 24-5, Warriors 9-22.

Record vs. Warriors (2007-08): 2-2.

Update: The Lakers know they will be challenged by Golden State’s up-tempo, three-point shooting offense, particularly after the Warriors upset the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Even if the Lakers allow the Warriors to score 100 points or more -- Golden State is second in the NBA in scoring (104.7) -- Derek Fisher said the Lakers’ defense has to concentrate on keeping Golden State’s field-goal percentage, second-chance points and points in the paint down. “That’s how you gauge what kind of game we play tomorrow,” Fisher said. The Warriors are first in the NBA in offensive rebounds, averaging 13.2 a game, and last in the league in points allowed, giving up 110.7 a game. They are fifth in steals at 7.9 a game. Corey Maggette, a former Clipper, (strained right hamstring) is out, leading scorer Jamal Crawford (strained left groin) is questionable and Monta Ellis (left ankle) is out. Ronny Turiaf, the former Laker, is averaging 3.8 points and 3.0 rebounds after signing a four-year, $17-million contract with the Warriors.
