Utah 60, at UC Irvine 52: Lawrence Borha scored 13 of his 18 points in the second half to lead the Utes (7-5) over the Anteaters (2-10). Borha made a pair of three-point baskets to open the second half and give Utah a 12-point lead. Carlon Brown had 13 points with nine rebounds and Luke Nevill had 11 points with 10 rebounds for Utah. The Utes led by as much as 15 points, but Irvine cut the deficit to six at 56-50 with 1:26 left on a jumper by Derrick Strings. Utah guard Luka Draka made four free throws in the final 1:20 to put the game out of reach. Kevin Bland scored 21 points with 13 rebounds and Eric Wise had 13 points and six rebounds to lead the Anteaters. Wise and Bland accounted for 21 of Irvine’s 25 first-half points. The duo shot a combined 10 for 18 from the field in the half, with their teammates shooting one for 11 from the field.
