UCLA (12-11, 7-5) vs. Washington (9-14, 4-7), 1:30, ESPN2 -- With sophomore center Moniquee Alexander playing limited minutes for the Bruins after suffering a concussion last week at California, freshman Candice Brown played a career-high 16 minutes Friday night against visiting Washington State, totaling three points and three rebounds. Brown played one more minute than starting center Regina Rogers, who finished with two points and one rebound. Alexander played the last five minutes of each half and finished with six points and three rebounds.

USC (14-9, 7-5) vs. Washington State (3-19, 0-11), 12:30 -- The Trojans got a surprise when senior forward Simone Jelks delivered three three-point baskets and 13 points in a 68-52 victory Friday over Washington. USC, now 10-1 at the Galen Center, got double-figure scoring from four different players. The Trojans overcame a 13-point second-half deficit and pulled out a 62-58 victory over Washington State in the first round of conference play. The Cougars have lost 13 in a row. They are led by Katie Appleton (12.8 points, 4.6 rebounds), who attended Apple Valley High.
