Quake causes minor damage
From Times Wire Reports
An earthquake was felt across large parts of Britain but caused no injuries and only minor damage to some homes.
The British Geological Survey put its magnitude at 5.3, but the U.S. Geological Survey earlier said it was 4.7. The temblor was centered about 125 miles north of London.
Britain is hit annually with up to 200 quakes but only 10% are strong enough to be felt.
