at Boston 92, Cleveland 87: Ray Allen scored 22 points to help the Celtics improve to 2-2 against the defending Eastern Conference champions. LeBron James (26 points) tweaked his ankle but became the youngest player in NBA history to score 10,000 points at 23 years 59 days. Kobe Bryant had done it in 24 years 193 days.

at Utah 103, Detroit 95: Mehmet Okur had 11 of his 24 points in the final quarter and the Jazz rallied from a 15-point second-half deficit to beat the Pistons for the sixth straight time. Detroit, which shot 35 free throws to Utah’s 17, went without a field goal for almost 12 minutes of the half.

at New Orleans 120, Phoenix 103: Chris Paul had 25 points, 15 assists and three steals, and the Hornets shot 53% to end a three-game losing streak and sweep the four-game season series against the Suns. Phoenix fell to 2-3 with Shaquille O’Neal (15 points and seven rebounds).

at Philadelphia 101, Orlando 89: Andre Miller and Willie Green, the 76ers’ starting backcourt, scored 26 points apiece and outscored their Magic counterparts, Jameer Nelson and Maurice Evans, 52-2, in the 76ers’ seventh straight home victory.

Chicago 113, at Indiana 107: Larry Hughes had 29 points, and Drew Gooden had 10 points and 15 rebounds, helping the Bulls win for the first time since acquiring them Feb. 21. The Bulls broke an 82-82 tie by scoring the first seven points of the fourth quarter and never trailed again.

at Atlanta 123, Sacramento 117: Mike Bibby had 24 points and 12 assists in his home debut for Hawks in a victory over his former team. The Hawks improved to 2-4 since acquiring Bibby, who had a season high in assists and matched a season high in points.

at Toronto 107, Minnesota 85: Chris Bosh scored 28 points to help the Raptors beat the Timberwolves for the eighth straight time. Toronto hasn’t lost to Minnesota since Jan. 21, 2004. The Timberwolves led, 17-7, before falling to 1-11 in the second of back-to-back games.

at New York 113, Charlotte 89: Nate Robinson scored 22 points and Jamal Crawford had 20 as the Knicks shot 51% in beating the Bobcats. Charlotte’s Jason Richardson had only seven points in 12 minutes before leaving because of a right eye bruise and small corneal abrasion.

Denver 138, at Seattle 96: Allen Iverson scored 31 points and the Nuggets ended a three-game losing streak by shooting a franchise-best 67% in the highest-scoring game of the season. The highest-scoring game before this one came against Denver, when Phoenix scored 137 points.

Portland 82, at Clippers 80: Jarrett Jack had 13 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Trail Blazers.
