SAN DIEGO (11-5)

AT INDIANAPOLIS (13-3)

* Time, Television: 10 a.m., Ch. 2

* Story line: The Colts begin defense of their Super Bowl title looking for revenge over a team that defeated them, 23-21, on Nov. 11. They ranked third in the NFL with 28.1 points a game, but six of Peyton Manning’s 14 interceptions came in that game. That’s nothing new for a Chargers defense that led the NFL with 30 interceptions and a plus-24 turnover ratio. The Colts were missing eight starters Nov. 11, but seven of them, including wide receiver Marvin Harrison, are expected to play. The Chargers have won seven in a row -- second only to 16-0 New England.

* Injury report: CHARGERS -- Doubtful: TE Antonio Gates (toe). Questionable: RB Lorenzo Neal (fibula). Probable: CB Antonio Cromartie (illness), K Nate Kaeding (left fibula). COLTS -- Questionable: TE Ben Utecht (shoulder). Probable: CB T.J. Rushing (illness).

* Yoon’s pick: Indianapolis. Despite six interceptions and eight missing starters on the road Nov. 11, the Colts might well have won if Adam Vinatieri hadn’t missed a 29-yard field-goal attempt with 1:34 to play.

N.Y. GIANTS (11-6)

AT DALLAS (13-3)

* Time, Television: 1:30 p.m., Ch. 11

* Story line: The Cowboys haven’t won a playoff game since 1996, the longest drought in team history. Wide receiver Terrell Owens is expected to play, despite not being fully recovered from a high ankle sprain that kept him out of the regular-season finale. The Cowboys averaged 28.4 points this season but only 15 in their last four games. The Giants lost twice to Dallas this season but have won eight consecutive road games since losing at Dallas on Sept. 9. Eli Manning has had quarterback ratings of 100 or better in consecutive games for the first time since 2005.

* Injury report: GIANTS -- Out: CB Kevin Dockery (hip). Doubtful: CB Sam Madison (stomach). Questionable: WR Plaxico Burress (ankle). Probable: TE Kevin Boss (illness), T Kareem McKenzie (ankle), C Shaun O’Hara (knee). COWBOYS -- Questionable: WR Terrell Owens (ankle). Probable: WR Terry Glenn (knee), C Andre Gurode (knee).

* Yoon’s pick: New York. How difficult is it to beat a team three times in one season? Dallas has never done it.
