Miguel Cotto, considered one of boxing’s best pound-for-pound fighters, will enter the ring as the favorite for his World Boxing Assn. welterweight title bout against Antonio Margarito tonight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

But Cotto, who is 32-0 with 26 knockouts, has had his betting support slip since he opened as a 3-1 favorite several weeks ago.

With many late bets going to Margarito this week, Cotto’s odds have changed to -265 as of Friday. Margarito, 36-5 with 26 knockouts, was listed at +205, according to Bodoglife.com.
