Columbia gets two presidents

Sony Pictures Entertainment named both Doug Belgrad and Matt Tolmach as president of its Columbia Pictures unit and extended their contracts with the Culver City-based studio through 2011.
Belgrad and Tolmach had each been president of production since 2003, overseeing the making of such movies as “Spider-Man” and its sequels, “The DaVinci Code” and “Ghost Rider.” SPE is owned by Sony Corp. of Japan.
