Update -- The Kings improved to 5-2 in shootouts with a 6-5 victory Thursday night at Phoenix. Patrick O’Sullivan scored the final goal, his third winner in a shootout this season. The last time the Kings played the Stars, O’Sullivan scored the winner in a 4-3 shootout victory Jan. 12 at Staples Center. Kings forward Kyle Calder broke a finger against the Coyotes and is sidelined indefinitely.
