* at Boston 88, Miami 62: The Celtics took a 27-4 lead en route to holding the Heat to an NBA-record low 17 field goals. The previous record in the shot-clock era came against Miami in April 1999, when Chicago managed only 18. Leon Powe had 17 points for Boston.

* New Orleans 118, at Toronto 111: David West scored 32 points and Chris Paul had 20 points and 16 assists to help the Hornets (.694) stay percentage points ahead of San Antonio (.689) atop the Western Conference by reaching 50 wins for the first time since the 1997-98 season.

* at San Antonio 109, Houston 88: Tony Parker and Michael Finley scored 22 points apiece and the Spurs led by as many as 25 in winning their seventh in a row. Houston’s Tracy McGrady and Rafer Alston each had 13 points after shooting a combined nine for 38.

* at Cleveland 91, Philadelphia 88: LeBron James made a twisting bank shot with 19.3 seconds left to put the Cavaliers ahead to stay and end a three-game losing streak. James finished with 26 points. Andre Iguodala missed a three-point shot at the buzzer for the 76ers.

* at Atlanta 114, New York 109: Marvin Williams scored 27 points and Joe Johnson added 23 points and a season-high 13 assists to help the Hawks win their third in a row and increase their lead over New Jersey to 2 1/2 games for the final Eastern Conference playoff spot.

* at Minnesota 110, Utah 103: The Jazz fell to 16-22 on the road by losing to the Timberwolves for the second time this season at Minneapolis. Al Jefferson had 22 points and eight rebounds and Rashad McCants scored 13 of his 16 points in the second half for the Timberwolves, who shot 53%.

* Sacramento 120, at Seattle 107: Kevin Martin scored 31 points, Ron Artest added 29 and the Kings ended a four-game losing streak by exploiting an 11-0 run to close the third quarter and 10-2 run surge to start the fourth. The Kings haven’t loss at Seattle since Nov. 20, 2005.

* at Golden State 114, Dallas 104: The Mavericks led by 12 points in the first quarter but fell to 1-2 since Dirk Nowitzki’s March 23 knee and ankle injuries and 0-10 against teams with winning records since acquiring Jason Kidd.

* at Lakers 126, Washington 120 (OT): Kobe Bryant scored six of his 26 points in overtime to help the Lakers reach 50 wins for the 29th time in franchise history.
