Never at a loss

Cal runs up 41 points, 232 yards rushing and UCLA Coach Rick Neuheisel says, “Our defense was terrific.” I guess that means our quarterback, who threw four interceptions, was inimitable. And our running game, 16 yards in 22 carries, was phenomenal. Therefore, our 3-5 record must be outstanding.

They say the coach is optimistic and his glass is always half full. My question is, half full of what?
