Update -- Erik Ersberg will make his third consecutive start in goal for the Kings. “Whenever you get a combination that seems to be going in the right direction, you stick with it,” Coach Terry Murray said. Ersberg held the Ducks to one goal in a 1-0 overtime loss Tuesday and then beat Florida, 3-2, Thursday. “You start feeling more comfortable when you’ve played a couple games in a row,” Ersberg said. “You get into a routine that’s good.” The Blues, under former Kings coach Andy Murray, have been hit with injuries. The latest was forward Paul Kariya, who left Wednesday’s game against the Ducks with a “lower body injury.” Kariya returned to St. Louis to have an MRI. The test revealed no significant damage, though he will miss tonight’s game. The Blues returned goaltender Chris Holt to the minor leagues, an indication that Manny Legace is ready to play. From the Murray book of anatomy, Legace also had a “lower body injury.”
