Sacramento 105, at New Orleans 96: John Salmons scored 29 points and Bobby Jackson had all eight of his points in the last 5:10 to help the injury-depleted Kings surprise the Hornets. Chris Paul had 20 points and 15 assists for New Orleans (5-5).

Dallas 96, at Houston 86: The Mavericks, playing without injured Josh Howard (ankle), got 31 points from Jason Terry and 24 points from Dirk Nowitzki to beat the Rockets, who played without Yao Ming (sore left foot).

at Atlanta 91, Washington 87: Marvin Williams hit a go-ahead three-point shot with 26 seconds left and the Hawks overcame Caron Butler’s 32-point effort. Williams had 21 points and matched his career high with 14 rebounds to help Atlanta end a losing streak at four games.

Toronto 101, at Miami 95: Andrea Bargnani scored a season-high 25 points and Jermaine O’Neal had 16 points and 17 rebounds for the Raptors, who withstood a 40-point, 11-assist effort from the Heat’s Dwyane Wade.

at Minnesota 102, Philadelphia 96: Al Jefferson scored six of his 25 points in the final 3 1/2 minutes to help the Timberwolves end a losing streak at eight games. Elton Brand had 19 points and 13 rebounds for the 76ers.

Denver 91, at San Antonio 81: The Nuggets won for the seventh time in eight games as Chauncey Billups scored 22 points and Carmelo Anthony had 21. Tim Duncan had only 12 points for the Spurs, who had won three in a row.

at Utah 105, Milwaukee 94: C.J. Miles scored a season-high 25 points and Carlos Boozer had 20 points and 11 rebounds before leaving because of a strained quadriceps and the Jazz stayed unbeaten in six home games.

at Portland 116, Chicago 74: Greg Oden had 11 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks in his home debut and the Trail Blazers built a 30-point lead in the first half.

Clippers 108, at Oklahoma City 88: The Clippers used a 23-4 run in the third quarter to defeat the Thunder.
