MY FAVORITE WEEKEND

Paris Hilton is seemingly everywhere recently, promoting her new MTV reality show, “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF” (10 p.m. Tuesdays), and showing up at a soundtrack release party to promote her latest film, “Repo! The Genetic Opera,” last week at the Abbey in West Hollywood. (The film comes out in November.) So what does the night life fixture, who gets paid to show up at clubs from Las Vegas to London, like to do on a weekend in L.A. now that she is in a solid relationship with rocker Benji Madden? The answer might surprise you.

A bite of Friday night: I don’t go out too much anymore. LAX is nice, but I haven’t been there in a long time. . . . I just had my MTV show premiere party there; that was work, though. I do love Apple. I ate there recently on a Friday. I had the pasta. We always just share and get it family-style. Allison [Melnick, a co-owner of Apple Lounge] is a friend of mine. After we eat, we go downstairs to the lounge.

Shopping spree: On Saturdays, I usually go to the Beverly Hills Hotel and have brunch. I love the eggs Benedict and omelets there. And the Polo Lounge’s McCarthy salad is great. After brunch, sometimes I’ll go shopping. I love going down to Robertson. Lisa Kline has pretty dresses and bikinis. And Diavolina is good for shoes. Kitson is great for cute clothes and fun gifts and stuff. I also like the Alice + Olivia store. I just love getting electronics at the Apple Store. And I also love going to this store called Pearl Art & Craft that sells art supplies, on La Cienega. I’ll buy canvas, glue and glitter . . . just all sorts of stuff. They have great stuff like feathers.

Paparazzi-free cinema? Unfortunately, paparazzi follow me wherever I go. But the Grove security is really good, and sometimes the security there will kick them out. I barely go out anymore, but if I go see a movie on a Saturday night, I usually go to Century City or the Grove. The theaters at the Grove are really nice; I also like shopping there. The Farmers Market is nice too.

Sleepy Sundays: Sundays, I usually stay in bed late. I sleep until 11:30, because I work so much during the week and I’m exhausted. In the afternoon, I usually swim in the pool or have a barbecue at my house. I like to have friends and family over to cook, then we watch movies.
