Big 12 report

* No. 7 Texas Tech 43, at Texas A&M; 25: Graham Harrell threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more, and the Red Raiders (7-0, 3-0) recorded their best start in 32 years with a victory over the Aggies (2-5, 0-3) at College Station. Harrell completed 44 of 56 passes for 450 yards. Jerrod Johnson completed 26 of 39 passes for 283 yards for the Aggies, who led, 23-20, at halftime. A&M; gained outgained Texas Tech, 274-254, in the first half but mustered only 32 yards and five first downs in the second. Michael Crabtree caught two touchdown passes and Baron Batch rushed for 87 yards and another score for the Red Raiders, who now begin the defining stretch of the season. Their next four opponents are all ranked in this week’s top 25: Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.

* at No. 8 Oklahoma State 34, Baylor 6: Dez Bryant had a career-high 11 catches for 212 yards and two touchdowns and Keith Toston had two scoring runs to lead the Cowboys (7-0, 3-0) over the Bears (3-4, 1-2) at Stillwater to set up a showdown next Saturday at No. 1 Texas. The Cowboys, who won at then-No. 3 Missouri a week ago, have their highest ranking since 1985 and are off to their best start since their 9-0 Sugar Bowl season of 1945.

* Nebraska 35, at Iowa State 7: Joe Ganz passed for 328 yards and a touchdown and Marlon Lucky ran for two more scores to lead the Cornhuskers (4-3, 1-2) over the Cyclones (2-5, 0-3) at Ames. Nebraska ended a losing streak at three games and avoided its first 0-3 start in conference play in 63 years. It was only the second victory for the Cornhuskers in their last 10 Big 12 games. Iowa State has lost five in a row.

* at Colorado 14, Kansas State 13: Rodney Stewart rushed for 141 yards in 29 carries, and freshman quarterback Tyler Hansen came off the bench to spark the Buffaloes (4-3, 1-2) over the Wildcats (4-3, 1-2) at Boulder. Hansen, who was planning to redshirt this season, finished a modest seven for 14 for 71 yards with one touchdown and one interception, but he also ran 19 times for 86 yards, bringing a dimension that starter Cody Hawkins lacks.
