Man stabbed to death after argument
An argument that began early Thursday in a popular restaurant and bar ended in a fatal stabbing, sheriff’s officials said.
The altercation moved outside Barney’s Beanery on Santa Monica Boulevard, and three to four men pulled a knife on the victim about 1:30 a.m., said Lt. Gil Carrillo of the Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau.
Carrillo said the 40-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he died. The assailants are still at large.
