A dog’s place in history

Share

“Fire, Bed & Bone”

Henrietta Branford

I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes history books. A dog’s masters are taken to jail and the dog ventures out to help and protect his masters’ family. The story takes place in 1381, so it is not exactly the best time. I believe that those who love history and dogs will love this book.

“Ripley’s Believe It or Not: 2006”

Robert Ripley

This is the coolest series ever! Robert Ripley has gone around the world looking for odd things. Some of them are creepy. Some of them you might not believe. There are floating kids, a man with hair that is 20 feet long, monster trucks, a 650-pound man and a gun made out of human skin. I recommend this book to everyone.

“The Tail of Emily Windsnap”

Liz Kessler

One day, Emily persuades her mother to allow her to take swimming lessons at her school. She jumps in the water and feels her legs sticking together. That night she sneaks out of the house and goes down to the pier and swims. Her legs are turning into a tail! She is a mermaid. She meets another mermaid, Shona, at Rainbow Rocks. Then she finds out that she has a father, so she tries to find him. I recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy. This is a creative book and the ending is . . . but I’ll let you find that out for yourself.
