To help promote her new album, Barbra Streisand will perform a concert Sept. 26 at New York’s Village Vanguard, the famed jazz club where she opened for Miles Davis in 1961.
The new album, “Love Is the Answer,” features jazz standards and classics, which is why the Vanguard was selected. Her announcement Thursday made no mention of other performances being planned.
