UC Santa Barbara is beaten for the first time
Santa Clara 79, at UC Santa Barbara 68: Kevin Foster’s game-high 18 points helped lead the Broncos (4-3) over the Gauchos (4-1).
Three other Santa Clara players scored in double digits. Marc Trasolini had 15 points and six rebounds, Ray Cowels came off the bench and scored 13, and Robert Smith had 11.
