Dirk Nowitzki comes through for the Mavericks
at Dallas 98, Charlotte 97 (OT): Dirk Nowitzki made a 10-foot jumper with 1.8 seconds left in overtime, and the Mavericks continued their dominance over Charlotte. Nowitzki scored 36 points, including 18 in the fourth quarter and overtime, to help the Mavericks improve to 11-0 all-time against the Bobcats.
at Denver 105, Phoenix 99: Carmelo Anthony scored 32 points, and Chauncey Billups shook off an awful first half to lead the Nuggets back from a 17-point deficit against the Suns.
Boston 106, at Chicago 80: Rajon Rondo had 16 points and 14 assists as the Celtics won their 10th in a row and the Bulls lost their 10th out of 12.
at Detroit 104, Golden State 95: Rodney Stuckey scored 29 points and Charlie Villanueva added 24 as the Pistons won their fifth in a row. Pistons guard Richard Hamilton played after missing 21 games with a sprained right ankle and had 18 points.
at Milwaukee 108, Portland 101 (2OT): Luke Ridnour scored six of his 20 points in the second overtime for the Bucks.
at Sacramento 120, Minnesota 100: Jason Thompson had 23 points and 13 rebounds to help the Kings end a four-game losing streak.
