Update: Two of the Clippers’ 10 wins this season have been against the Timberwolves, the most recent a 91-87 win at Staples Center on Nov. 23 in which Al Thornton scored 31 points. Coach Kurt Rambis’ young Timberwolves beat the Jazz in Utah on Monday as rookie point guard Jonny Flynn scored with three seconds left. Minnesota has one of the worst home records (2-10) in the league. Ex-UCLA star Kevin Love has been in the Timberwolves’ lineup the last seven games after being sidelined because of a broken bone in his left hand.
