at Montana State 76, UC Santa Barbara 64: Junior guard Erik Rush had 17 points and career highs of nine rebounds and seven assists as Montana State pulled away in the second half. The Bobcats (6-4) notched their first win in 10 tries against the Gauchos (4-3), who were led by sophomore forward James Nunnally with 13 points and six rebounds.

San Jose State 69, at UC Irvine 56: Junior guard Adrian Oliver scored a game-high 31 points and the Spartans (5-4) used a 28-11 run in the second half to defeat the Anteaters (5-5), who got 15 points, six rebounds and five assists from sophomore Eric Wise.

at Long Beach State 75, Utah State 62: T.J. Robinson posted a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds to pace Long Beach State. Casper Ware contributed 19 points and seven assists for the 49ers (6-4). Tai Wesley made 10 of 12 shots and scored 22 points for the Aggies (6-4), but no teammate had more than nine.

Drexel 75, at Cal State Northridge 63: Jamie Harris scored a game-high 24 points, including six in the last 2:13, to lead the Dragons (6-5) over the Matadors (4-6). Harris made nine of 15 shots and had seven assists. Northridge, which missed 13 of 34 free throws and committed 18 turnovers, had four players score in double figures.

New Mexico State 78, at Pepperdine 72: Jahmar Young scored 27 points and Jonathan Gibson had 24 as New Mexico State (4-6) beat Pepperdine. The Waves (3-9) got to within one point several times in the second half, the last at 61-60.

WOMEN

Texas Tech 59, at UCLA 58: The Red Raiders improved to 9-1 by edging the Bruins (5-4) at Pauley Pavilion.
