Authorities were looking for clues Sunday to solve three unrelated homicides.

In South Los Angeles, a man was shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle, police said. The shooting occurred near the intersection of South Broadway and West 58th Street about 12:30 p.m. Sunday, said Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman Ana Aguirre. Police believe that at least two men who fled in a green vehicle may be responsible for the shooting. The victim had not been identified.

Another man was found dead early Sunday morning in a Garden Grove parking lot, police said. The victim, who also had not been identified, was found lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds in the 11000 block of Euclid Street, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.

In Indio, a man was found dead among tamarisk trees in the 81200 block of Indio Boulevard, authorities said. The man, who police believe was homeless, was found at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, said Benjamin Guitron of the Indio Police Department.

Guitron said police were viewing the death as suspicious because the coroner found preliminary evidence of blunt trauma to the man’s upper body.
