Arkansas leaders: Hitting -- 1B/3B Andy Wilkins (.326, 18 HR), SS/2B Ben Tschepikow (.310, 9 HR, 16 SB), INF Zack Cox (12 HR), P/OF Brett Eibner (10 HR), SS/DH Scott Lyons (.302, 8 HR). Today’s probable starter -- Dallas Keuchel (7-3, 4.04).
In the draft: A total of 13 players -- seven from Fullerton and six from Arkansas -- were selected this week in Major League Baseball’s annual draft. Drafted from Fullerton were Fellhauer (seventh round), Cincinnati; Davis (7), Milwaukee; Clark (12) Colorado; C Dustin Garneau (19), Colorado; P Michael Morrison (29), Detroit; P Kyle Witten (41) Seattle; 2B Joe Scott (42), Colorado. Selected from Arkansas were Keuchel (7), Houston; P Stephen Richards (8), Florida; Lyons (15), Kansas City; Tschepikow (17), Kansas City; P Mike Bolsinger (33), Oakland; C Ryan Cisterna (34), Angels.
Local Razorback: Lyons played at Charter Oak High, Cal State Northridge and Mt. San Antonio College before transferring to Arkansas in 2008.
