A suspected carjacker was shot Tuesday by an undercover Anaheim police detective after investigators blocked the man’s car in a parking lot in Baldwin Park and he rammed their vehicles, authorities said.
The shooting occurred about 2:15 p.m. in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart, said Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez. The suspect had allegedly carjacked a 1996 Mercedes-Benz E-320 from its owners at an Anaheim motel, Martinez said.
