A man and woman were shot and wounded Friday as they sat inside a parked car in the Jefferson Park area, authorities said.
The two were in the car when another vehicle drove up alongside them about 10:30 a.m. and the occupants got out and fired several shots, said Cmdr. Andrew Smith of the Los Angeles Police Department.
The woman, who was in the driver’s seat, was critically wounded in the attack in the 3400 block of South 11th Avenue. The man was in stable condition.The motive for the shootings was unclear.
