Update: The Galaxy is coming off a disappointing 1-1 road tie with FC Dallas in a game that saw Landon Donovan score his sixth goal of the season. But the Galaxy failed to put away other chances and settled for its fourth consecutive tie. The team has dropped 19 of 30 possible points one-third of the way through the season. “We didn’t finish off the plays to get the three points,” Galaxy Coach Bruce Arena said. Kansas City will be without forward and leading scorer Josh Wolff, who received a red card after aiming a head butt at Chivas USA defender Mariano Trujillo last Saturday. Argentine midfielder Santiago Hirsig of the Wizards also was ejected and is suspended. The Galaxy has lost midfielder- defender Sean Franklin for four to six months because of a torn upper right hamstring.
