Big 12: Oklahoma holds off Kansas State

at No. 22 Oklahoma 42, Kansas State 30: Landry Jones passed for 294 yards and four touchdowns and DeMarco Murray scored three times to help the Sooners defeat the Wildcats. Jones completed 26 of 37 passes as Oklahoma jumped to a quick 21-0 lead and hung on while Kansas State twice closed to within five points in the second half. Two of Murray’s touchdowns came in the fourth quarter, on a six-yard reception and a three-yard run.

at Texas Tech 42, Kansas 21: Baron Batch rushed for 123 yards and four touchdowns to help the Red Raiders beat the Jayhawks. Texas Tech scored 28 consecutive points in the fourth quarter to hand Kansas its third consecutive loss. Batch had three of his four scores in the quarter.

at Texas A&M; 35, Iowa State 10: Jerrod Johnson threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead the Aggies over the Cyclones. Cyrus Gray rushed for 119 yards for Texas A&M;, which gained 501 yards, was 10 for 13 on third-down conversions and did not punt.

Nebraska 20, at Baylor 10: Freshman Cody Green led the Cornhuskers to points on their first three drives in his first college start as Nebraska ended a losing streak at two games. Justin Blatchford returned a blocked punt for a touchdown and Jared Crick had a school-record five sacks for Nebraska .

Missouri 36, at Colorado 17: Danario Alexander caught two TD passes and the Tigers’ swarming defense had eight sacks and forced four turnovers to end a three-game losing streak.
