at Golden State 113, Memphis 105: Monta Ellis had 24 points and 12 assists, Anthony Morrow had 24 points and Corey Maggette had 20 in the Warriors’ first win of the season.

Denver 122, at New Jersey 94: Chauncey Billups and Carmelo Anthony woke up the unbeaten Nuggets in a 44-point third quarter and Denver continued its best start since 1985-86. New Jersey led, 51-50, at halftime, but Denver made 17 of 25 shots and outscored the Nets, 44-26, in the third quarter.

Miami 93, at Washington 89: Dwyane Wade scored 40 points, including a go-ahead jump shot with 25 seconds left, to lead the Heat.

Indiana 101, at New York 89: T.J. Ford scored eight of his 16 points in the final 3:12 and the Pacers won for the first time this season, holding the Knicks without a field goal for the final nine-plus minutes.

at Toronto 110, Detroit 99: Andrea Bargnani had 22 points and 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season and Chris Bosh scored 25 points for the Raptors, who had lost seven of their previous eight games against the Pistons.

at New Orleans 114, Dallas 107 (OT): Peja Stojakovic hit a score-tying three-pointer in the final seconds of regulation and Chris Paul scored six of his 39 points in overtime, lifting the Hornets to a victory over the Mavericks.
